About our Public Policy Work
Teacher Support Network's group of charities strive to ensure that national, local and school level policies all help to improve teacher health and wellbeing. In doing so, we aim to improve school performance overall.
By the very nature of Teacher Support Network’s services, we are the first to hear about the problems that teachers face. We see it as our responsibility to act on that information to support teachers on a wider basis, as well as one-to-one. After assisting teachers who contact us for help, we contact any departments, organisations or bodies who have the power to stop a teacher’s problem reoccurring. We also run surveys on a wide array of issues in education to find out how widespread a problem is, identify new issues, or see which solutions teachers favour. From the classroom up to the Downing St cabinet room, we will then campaign for appropriate change in the interests of teachers’ health and wellbeing. To find out more about our current campaigns and recent successes, take a look at the public policy related news items. |
