The Edinburgh Marathon and Hairy Haggis Relay

Join 20,000 others on the streets of Edinburgh on 23 May, 2010

By Flora Williamson

We are looking for runners to take part in Scotland’s favourite marathon – the Edinburgh Marathon on 23rd May 2010. Would you like to take part in this exciting event?

You have the chance to join the other 20,000 people, taking in the world famous sites, as you run through the streets of Edinburgh.

However, if a whole marathon seems that step too far, why not join with three of your friends and run the Hairy Haggis Relay? The race runs the same course as the marathon on the same day – but in relay! Each runner runs roughly 5.8 miles.

If you join the Teacher Support Scotland team we will:

  • Give you a running vest
  • Support you with fundraising
  • Have a post event celebration
  • Cheer you around the race track and give you support

Places are limited, so if you would like to run the Marathon, in aid of Teacher Support Network please get in touch.

All we ask of you is to pay a registration fee of £30 and fundraise £570 for each marathon place or relay team on behalf of Teacher Support Network or one of our sister charities - Teacher Support Cymru, Teacher Support Scotland or College & University Support Network. Don’t worry if you have never done any fundraising before – we are here to help you. We also have some places available in the Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon and Virgin London Marathon.

All you have to do is complete the form here.

If you would like any more information please call Flora on 020 7697 2766.
