From the Teacher Support Network, www.teachersupport.info. DONATE THROUGH YOUR SALARY
|
|
Regular donations help us budget out projects that support teachers.
|
Regularly donating a fixed sum of money from your salary is a simple way to give. It's also the most tax effective way, because donations are deducted before you pay tax.

What is donating through your salary?
It is often called payroll giving, and is one of the most cost-effective ways of helping us to help teachers. The money comes directly out of your salary each month, before you are taxed – which means the gift is worth more, because the money you would have given to the Inland Revenue comes to us instead.
How will you be helping?
By giving from your salary each payday, you will be helping us to provide vital support to teachers in need. The fact that we know how much and how often you will donate means that we can budget effectively and plan ahead. And you will know that Teacher Support Network is able to make the best use of your regular, tax-free donation.
How is it worked out?
For example, if you donate £10, only £8 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest. Or if you're on a higher tax rate (40%), only £6 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest. Use our payroll giving calculator to work out how much a donation would cost you and how much it would be worth to us.
How do I sign up?
Simply print and fill in our payroll giving sign-up form (pdf) and we'll do the rest! You can also call 020 7697 2750 or use the electronic form below.
