Teacher Support Network and Turn2us

We are pleased to work in partnership with Turn2us: the new independent charity that helps people access the money available to them

The financial assistance and money advice we offer represent our most longstanding services, being retained from our old incarnation as the Teachers' Benevolent Fund.

We aim to help any teacher struggling to make ends meet. However, owing to our limited resources, grants can only be rewarded to those meeting specific criteria.

As a result, we are pleased to work in partnership with Turn2us: the new independent charity that helps people access the money available to them – through welfare benefits, grants and other help. When we can't give grants to teachers, we hope Turn2us will be able to help them find the financial support they need.

The charity runs a free, accessible website, where you can find comprehensive resources that help you quickly and easily find financial support based on your particular needs and circumstances. In some cases, you can make online enquiries to grant-giving charities directly linked from the site.

If you do not have access to the web and want to see if Turn2Us might be available to you, try calling the Turn2us Helpline 0808 802 2000.

If you would like to find out more about Teacher Support Network's grants, phone our Support Lines on 08000 562 561 (England), 0800 564 2270 (Scotland) or 08000 855 088 (Wales).
