"I believe that the youth of today are working a lot harder to get the grades to get better jobs in the future"by Nathaniel Holland : 18 August 2011
After just completing my first year of college and doing my AS Level exams I am feeling alright about my final year at college starting in September. A Levels can be particularly stressful due to all the exams being close to each other and the amount of revision and the effort that needs to be put in to the exam. Those who want to progress to university constantly have the entry requirements to get into university in the back of their mind, which could work as a brilliant motivator, but at the same time, could be a hindrance due to the added pressures. Some say that exams are getting easier; however, I believe that the youth of today are working a lot harder to get the grades to get better jobs in the future, especially in the current economic climate. I also believe A Levels are still a very important part of education as it is the passage way to university, and due to the rise of fees for university more young people are working harder to get into their first choice on their application form.
