WE'RE YOURS 24 HOURS A DAY
We can - and do - help teachers in acute financial distress. Will you help us?

A Public Appeal : 19 November 2008
we are here for you every hour of every dayThe 3am call from a teacher on the brink is far more common than you might expect. In the current economic climate, our support is urgently - sometimes desperately - needed.

We can - and do - help teachers in acute financial distress. Will you help us?

It's no exaggeration

In recent months, there has been a dramatic increase in the number and severity of financial problems teachers in England and Wales have been confronted with. As the credit crunch bites, too many of our colleagues are finding themselves overwhelmed by debt. Click here to read Julia's story.

Offering practical solutions

no exxagerationOn average, 50% of the calls we are receiving right now are from teachers facing day to day financial difficulty. Naturally, this takes its toll on their ability to teach and adds to their overall levels of stress.

While we assist teachers who are facing an immediate crisis, we also focus on enabling teachers to manage debt, to plan a strategy for coping and to structure their financial commitments in order to avoid further crises.

Will you help us to help them?

The credit crunch will come and go, but we cannot afford to let the lives of good teachers be ruined by current difficulties. Will you help us to help them? The pressure on our resources has never been greater. Click here to donate, or use the form provided.
