Pastures new?By Joe Williams : 5 March 2009
Last week marked the official resignation dates for schools. As ever, the preceding three weeks brought an upsurge in enquiries to our Contact Centre about issues related to retirement, resignation, leaving the profession and finding a new job. Decisions on calling an end to your career or simply leaving a familiar working environment and teaching elsewhere can be extremely difficult to make and take their toll on your emotional wellbeing. Remember our coaches are available 24 hours a day throughout the year to help you through such complicated periods. On top of this, our online InfoCentre has a host of useful information on changing careers, enjoying retirement, improving your CV and preparing yourself for interviews.
