NUT Quiz Nightby Lucy Rowe : 5 May 2011
On Sunday 24 April we held our popular quiz night in the Ballroom at the Old Swan Hotel. Attended by over 200 people from all regions the teams battled it out over questions composed and read by quiz master Andy Wooley, Regional Secretary of the South West. A raffle was also held and together with the money we collected for teams we raised over £2,000! It was a great evening with all eager to win the coveted Teacher Support Network medals. The winning team 'Staff team no.1' are regular winners at our quiz and were very pleased to be successful once again. With thanks to all that attended and Andy for volunteering his services as quiz master and Stephen O'Leary, from Swansea region who helped with our scoring. We look forward to another fun evening next year! For more information on this year's conferences, go to our Conference Round-up 2011.
