TEACHER SUPPORT NETWORK ADVISOR TO HOST CYBERBULLYING FORUM ON TES CONNECT
If you have questions or concerns about the subject, why not post them to the site next week?

by Joe Williams : 11 June 2009

Next week Robert Latham, counsellor and coach at Teacher Support Network’s Contact Centre, will host a forum on cyberbullying on the Times Educational Supplement’s website – TES Connect.

TES describes its online forums as "where the teaching community comes to let off steam, swap ideas and ask for advice." Between 15 and 19 June, Robert will answer questions on cyberbullying – from enquiries about existing guidance to addressing the emotional difficulties that cyberbullying can bring – on the site.

Cyberbullying is a growing problem in schools, effecting pupils and teachers alike. A survey we conducted earlier this year with the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) found that one in seven respondents had experienced cyberbullying. Almost one in five said they knew of colleagues who had become victims.

If you have questions or concerns about the subject, why not post them to the site next week?

The forum will be available on Monday here.
