From the Teacher Support Network, www.teachersupport.info. TEACHER SUPPORT NETWORK HOLDS FRINGE EVENTS AT ALL THREE UNION CONFERENCESBy Joe Williams : 30 March 2010At Teacher Support Network, we strive to meet as many teachers face-to-face as possible to help us develop a better understanding of the issues facing the profession and get feedback on our services. In addition, we think it is important to be part of the conversation surrounding education as a whole and talk to and work with other stakeholders from the sector towards delivering improvements in the lives of teachers. As a result, we are always very happy to attend the conferences of the three teacher unions – the NUT, ATL and NASUWT – to meet a wide variety of people and spread the word about our work. 2010 will see us hosting fringe meetings at all three conferences for the first time, giving us an opportunity to discuss our work with Parentline Plus. If you are attending conference why not come along? It would be great to meet as many e-newsletter readers as possible to discuss our work and hear about your experiences. If a colleague is coming, why not encourage them to come along? Details for each fringe are below. In the meantime you can find our joint report with Parentline Plus – ‘Beyond the School Gate’ – here. At the National Union of Teachers ConferenceDate: Saturday 3 April
