Gala perfomance of 'Mogadishu' raises funds for our services
The raffle proved popular and raised over £300, with the first prize, £50 Marks & Spencers Vouchers, Easter egg going to Kay Moore and second prize to Joan Hewish. Our thanks to Accountabilty and NSS for funding the raffle prizes. A further £400 has been raised in cash and cheque donations received on the night and money is still coming in. These donations are on top of the money we received for tickt sales. Finally, we'd like to say a big thank you to staff from the Lyric theatre for all their help and support, and of course to the brilliant cast. If you haven't seen the play yet it's still running at the Lyric until 2 April 2011. If you haven’t seen the play yet it’s still running at the Lyric until 2 April 2011. Don’t take our word that it’s brilliant, read what the critics say on YouTube and the article in last week's TES. The play was written by teacher. See the interview with Vivienne Franzmann.
