LONG TERM SUPPORTER WINS £1,000

A long term supporter has won £1,000 thanks to the Teacher Support Network raffle. Jean Dwyer won the star prize in the 2010 raffle, which also included other cash prizes as well as a weekend break for two, a case of wine, a digital camera and a Fortnum and Mason's Hamper.

Jean, who is a retired teacher from Reading, plans to spend her winnings on art supplies and will give Teacher Support Network a further donation.

"Throughout my teaching career I was encouraged and helped by my colleagues. Now in retirement I feel it is only right to support other retired and serving teachers through Teacher Support Network."
