Teacher Support Network on national televisionCharity appears on GMTV and Teachers TVby Joe Williams : 23 November 2009
On Wednesday last week Teacher Support Network’s Chief Executive Julian Stanley was interviewed live on GMTV. Julian discussed the problems the profession faces, including their relationships with parents, with the presenters in the London studio from our Contact Centre in Wales. We hope that the coverage helps more teachers find out about our services. On the day of the broadcast, we received 30 per cent more calls than on the same day the previous week. Teachers TV Two shows we helped make on addressing workload and financial problems are also now available on the internet. The shows, which were broadcast nationally on Teachers TV, show real teachers discussing their problems with a panel of experts that includes Julian and our advisors Robert Latham and Sharon Gilbert. |
