Fourth run for teachers accomplished!

By Joe Williams : 1 March 2010

A quick update: I ran my fourth race of the year on Sunday morning. It was a truly horrible day down on Wimbledon Common and for most of the course I couldn’t feel my thumbs!

Despite all this I managed to finish in a new personal best time! Still not quite setting the world on fire, but came in at 54.10; 34 seconds better than I’ve managed before.

I won’t be running next weekend so will be trying to keep fit in between. More news on my next race when I have it.

In the meantime: thanks for all the donations! The thought of the money we’re raising really did help me tackle the devilish hill the race organisers put in the 5th kilometre!
