Fourth run for teachers accomplished!By Joe Williams : 1 March 2010
A quick update: I ran my fourth race of the year on Sunday morning. It was a truly horrible day down on Wimbledon Common and for most of the course I couldn’t feel my thumbs! Despite all this I managed to finish in a new personal best time! Still not quite setting the world on fire, but came in at 54.10; 34 seconds better than I’ve managed before. I won’t be running next weekend so will be trying to keep fit in between. More news on my next race when I have it. In the meantime: thanks for all the donations! The thought of the money we’re raising really did help me tackle the devilish hill the race organisers put in the 5th kilometre! Remember you can sponsor me here.
