CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE 2010 TEACHING AWARDS
This years' winners are announced

Teacher Support Network would like to congratulate all the winners of this year's Teaching Awards.

The Teaching Awards is an annual celebration of teaching and learning. Each ‘thank you' makes a huge difference to teachers and schools and is a great way to acknowledge their hard work and dedication. Find out more about this year's awards on the Teaching Awards website here.

Teaching is very demanding but it can also be a very rewarding profession and we want to celebrate this! In the coming months we are planning to launch a new ‘Great Teachers' campaign aimed at raising awareness of the fantastic work that teachers do and the contribution they make to society. This will include a social website, events and materials aimed at raising awareness about the role educators play in our lives and why it's important that we support them and the profession.

As part of our campaign we are inviting you to tell us what makes teachers great. To send us your thoughts simply click here and fill in a simple online form.

We will be launching a new Great Teachers website and your comments will be part of this. Look out for updates on this project in future newsletters and other ways you can get involved.
