First termly report now onlineBy Joe Williams
The first termly report of 2009 for the Teacher Support Network Group of charities is now available to view online. The first of its kind, the report shows a detailed summary of the issues effecting teachers and other educational professionals by breaking down the thousands of interactions we have with users by issue category, service and charity. The figures show that interactions across the group more than doubled in the spring term of 2009 compared to spring 2008. They also demonstrate the continuing influence of the recession across education, with interactions about money and grants up across the Group. The report also details highlights from the Group’s work away from the Contact Centre, such as our meeting with Minister for Schools, Jim Knight, MP and recent media appearances. Previously to this release, we issued quarterly reports. We are now releasing termly reports in line with the academic calendar.
