"Volunteering is a great way to contribute something to society"Meet the team: Iona Siwo, Volunteer Press Office Assistant11 November 2010
Why are you interested in Teacher Support Network in Scotland ? As a daughter, sister, friend and girlfriend of teachers, I feel I understand how stressful the profession can be. I appreciate that teaching is a demanding job, which is why I want to promote the valuable services Teacher Support Network in Scotland provides. I'm interested in raising awareness about the specialist support services they provide to all teachers.
As a recent Communication and Mass Media graduate, I would like to widen my knowledge in Journalism and Public Relations by volunteering for Teacher Support Network in Scotland. I would also like to learn new skills and gain experience within a communications environment. I enjoy helping and supporting others and like meeting new people. Volunteering is a great way to contribute something to society. What's it like working for Teacher Support Network? I find it really enjoyable and rewarding. The work is flexible as I can write articles in my spare time. The staff are all very friendly and experienced. Teacher Support Scotland offers plenty of support and training. They value the time and effort of their volunteers. To find out more about the team at Teacher Support Network, click here.
