Teacher Support Cymru To Recruit Volunteers during Volunteering Week 1- 7 Juneby Sandra Taylor and Jayne Davies
Teacher Support Cymru is looking to recruit volunteers who would become advocates and ambassadors for the charity, to help us raise awareness, through distributing leaflets, meeting teachers, attending events and running local focus groups. It is hoped that the volunteers will be able to bring a range of skills, knowledge and experience and be instrumental in working with the charity to raise the status of the teaching-profession, ensuring that the health and wellbeing and effectiveness of teachers is given the attention it deserves. Do you have some time you could offer to Teacher Support Cymru?. Are you a retired teacher or thinking of retiring from teaching in the near future, a supply teacher or have some spare time to offer our service? Your skills, knowledge and experience could be of great value to us and most importantly to other teachers. We are particularly looking for Welsh speaking Volunteers who could help us with translation.
We are holding an information and training day on Thursday 2 June in Cardiff - if you would like to attend, please contact Jayne on 01443 827634 or email Jayne.davies@teachersupport.info for more details. To read this in Welsh, click here.
